Group and whole-house bookings are available for groups of 6-16 people. Visit our local wineries, meander around the glorious gardens of Red Cow Farm, pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the wildlife at Gambells Rest. The more adventurous can walk the trail to the Glow Worm Glen and marvel at nature’s extraordinary light spectacle after dark. Alternatively, you may prefer to simply stay at the Lodge and enjoy the peace and quiet. Put your feet up in the library, guest lounge or deck chair and read or discuss a book, watch a Netflix movie, play cards, work out a jigsaw, or take a leisurely walk to the village for a morning coffee and newspaper. Bundanoon Lodge offers:

  • Seven guest rooms in total. Six guest rooms with either a queen or king bed with en-suite (some rooms have an additional single bed and a sofa bed)

  • All rooms are air-conditioned and centrally heated during winter. A wood burning fire is available for guests in the guest lounge

  • All rooms have their own smart TV as well as a small fridge and tea/coffee making facilities. Most rooms also have a sink and microwave. Two rooms have a spa bath

  • Large guest lounge with 55” smart TV for Netflix movies or that special game of footie and a wood burning fire

  • Fully equipped kitchen (Whole House Bookings only)

  • Large gas BBQ (Whole House Bookings only)

What is the difference between a group and whole-house booking?

  • Group Bookings

  • A group booking is defined as a booking made by one person for up to 5 rooms. Rooms not booked by the group will be offered to other guests (Download Floor Plan)

  • Minimum of two nights stay is applicable for group bookings

  • A full cooked breakfast is included in the room rate

  • The Lodge kitchen is not available for use by the group to prepare meals. (Whole house bookings only).

  • Pets are not permitted for group bookings.

  • To ensure guests (who are not in the group) feel comfortable and are not disturbed by excessive noise, special catered events (i.e. birthdays, anniversaries etc) are not permitted with a group booking. (Whole house bookings only).

  • Rates for a group booking are the same as the standard - per night - room rate.

  • A group booking is not accepted if booked through Booking.com or other Travel Agent.

  • The equivalent of one night’s accommodation is required as a deposit on confirmation of booking.

  • The remaining “amount due” is to be paid up to 7 days prior to the arrival date.

  • A valid credit card must be provided for security purposes but payments can be made by bank transfer to avoid the transaction fee.

  • Group leader (person who makes the booking) is responsible for co-ordinating the members of the group and providing the Lodge with the names of the group members. The Group Leader is also responsible for handling all queries/requests and is the main contact between the Lodge and group members

    Cancellation Policy

  • A full refund of the deposit will be issued if a Group Booking is cancelled up to 30 days prior to arrival date.

  • The deposit of one night’s accommodation will be retained if the Group Booking is cancelled 30 - 7 days prior to arrival date.

  • The full amount will be charged if the reservation is cancelled up to 7 days from arrival date.

    Note: If a booking cannot be utilised because of COVID lockdowns or for any other unexpected reason the booking can be moved to another equivalent date without penalty. This can be done once only.

    2. Whole-House Bookings

  • A whole-house booking is defined as a booking made by one person for all rooms whether the rooms are occupied by members of the group or remain empty . No other guests are accepted.

    • A maximum of 16 people will be accepted for whole house bookings.

    • Bundanoon Lodge is not suitable for small children

    • Standard rate (Sunday - Thursday) - $1300 per night

    • Weekend (Friday/Saturday) - $1500 per night

    • Holiday and NSW School Holiday rate - $1500 per night - 3 night minimum

    • Bond $500

    The Lodge has a total of seven guest rooms. Six with ensuites. Four of the ensuited guest rooms have an extra bed which means the rooms can be used as a ‘twin’ room. One guest room has an external bathroom. (Download Floor Plan)

  • Minimum of two nights stay or three nights over a NSW Public Holiday weekend, (New Years, Easter, Queens Birthday, Labour Day and Christmas)

  • Breakfast is not included in the whole-house rate

  • Pets are not permitted for whole-house bookings.

  • Linen, towels and bathroom toiletries are provided

  • Equivalent of one night’s accommodation is required as a deposit, payable on confirmation of booking

  • The remaining “amount due” is to be paid 7 days prior to the date of stay

  • A valid credit card must be provided for security purposes but payments may be made by bank transfer to avoid the credit card transaction fee.

  • As from 20 April 2022 it has become necessary to charge a bond of $500 for whole-house bookings. This will be charged to your credit card and refunded on departure if there are no additional cleaning charges over and above the cleaners normal duties.

  • Group leader (person who makes the booking) is responsible for co-ordinating the members of the group and providing the Lodge with the names of the group members 7 days prior to the date of stay. The Group Leader is also responsible for handling all queries/requests and is the main contact between the Lodge and group members

  • The BBQ and kitchen are available for your exclusive use. There is no charge for either the use of the BBQ or the kitchen facilities but after use, the facilities must be cleaned and left as found. A cleaning fee of $40 per hour or part thereof will be deducted from the bond if an additional cleaner has to be engaged to deal with the extra cleaning.

  • Check-in is 2pm. Check-out is 10am. Late check-outs or early check-ins cannot be accepted because of the time needed to clean the house between bookings.

  • Bundanoon Lodge does not have a liquor licence. Guests are welcome to BYO but the removal of used bottles on departure is appreciated as the Lodge does not have a commercial garbage service. Groups who leave a large quantity of bottles and/or garbage behind for the Lodge to dispose of will be charged a cleaning and removal fee of $100 which will be deducted from the bond.
